I wrote this song about 6 or 7 yrs ago, there are no lyrics just me and two tracks. Every time I hear this song it takes me back. I really can’t begin to tell you all the memories and thoughts that come back into my head every time I hear this. Music is amazing.

Hope you like it.. maybe some day I’ll get my act together and learn how to read music.

baloon-plugin-32px.pngSo I had an Idea this morning thanks to a chat that I was in over at arewestillcool, last monday. I went over to there site and participated in there chat, a good time was had by all. They have a little image in there sidebar advertising the next chat on May 19 at 9pm est. I liked it so much that I thought I would grab the image and put it in my sidebar to try and get more people to come join the chat.

Here is what I came up with…

I built a page where you can put in an image URL and a Link URL hit send and bam!!! you get an email with the code you need to put it in your blogs text widget. There is plenty of instruction and a few rules, but have at it.

Click Here TO Check it out

, or you can click on the little ballon with the puzzle piece.

Added Bonus!

While I was building this page I decided to ad an extra feature. There is a section in the form letting you choose to have your code posted publicly so you can share you Image Link with the rest of the world. If you choose ‘Yes’ I’ll grab your code and put it in a textarea box and post it above the form. This way anyone can grab it and put it in there sidebar.

Check it out, tell your friends, but don’t abuse it. Also if you find any glitches let me know. Have fun :-)

So here you go. Annie I think you were asking about this. These are really good. Jenny doesn’t put the powder sugar on top. (i don’t like powder sugar)

Enjoy ;-)

Prep time: 20 min
Total Cooking time: 20 min
Makes 12

ButterFly Cakes

4 oz unsalted butter, softened
2/3 cup caster (superfine) sugar
1.5 cups self-raising flour
1/2 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
2 eggs
1/2 cup cream, whipped to soft peaks
1/3 cup strawberry jam
icing (confectioner’s) sugar, to dust

1.

Preheat the oven to moderate 350 degrees. Line a 12-hole shallow patty tin with paper cases. Put the butter, sugar, flour, milk, vanilla and eggs in a bowl and beat with electric beaters on low speed for 2 min, or until well mixed. Increase the speed and beat for 2 minutes, or until smooth and pale.

2.

Divide the mixture evenly among the cases and bake for 20 min, or until cooked and golden. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

3.

Using a small sharp knife, cut shallow rounds from the top of each cake. Cut these in half. Spoon a half tablespoon of cream into the cavity in each cake, then top with a teaspoon of Jam. Position two halves of the cake tops in the jam in each cake to resemble butterfly wings. Dust the cakes with icing sugar before serving.
