Some of you may not know and some of you may not really care, but I have moved to Franklin. I found a nice little place with 3 other guys and its’ a really cool house to be in. It didn’t take me much to get my stuff up here. In fact Brody and I moved it in one trip in his car, that luckily has fold down seats.

I had my first dinner here and it sucked. I made some burritos (classic hicks style). The top of my mouth is going to be one big blister by the morning because apparently the microwave here came strait from NASA. Usually I’m standing right there when someone over cooks their food in the microwave and I love to give them crap for being stupid about it. Lucky for me there is a huge window where I can see my reflection, I called myself an idiot a few times.

Updates

Work has basically consumed my days for the last two weeks, and in a weird way I like it. There are some really good things in the mix, and we are in the process of producing a few things that we’re hoping will at least get you to shake your head with a pleased chuckle.

SkorInc has joined forces with Outdoor Encounter and were expecting good things to happen locally. There are also 2 or 3 other things in the mix that are really going to put a strain on our relationship here.

Making lunch today I realized there was something in the zip lock bag that wasn’t lunch meat. I got a closer look and it was a fly, trying to get a taste of my sweet turkey breast. I didn’t think much of it, but in my attempt to get it out I noticed another one in the back of the bag. I started to get concerned.

I immediately dumped the turkey out and sure enough there were 3 of them in there. The weird thing is they all seemed to be paralyzed. They weren’t moving hardly at all. The thing is, by this time I had already eaten a sandwich and realized the obvious.

You know how sometimes after you eat there are little bits stuck in your teeth. What if I was nibbling on fly legs.

I was just outside for a bit and I noticed a few guys working on a roof. They were re-roofing a house. I started to think about how glad I was that I’m not Paving this summer.

Working outside in the heat is definitely not on my to-do list for the summer, but I can respect those guys that are spending their summer busting their ass to provide for their families.

(you know you wish this was you…I spent the better part of my 20’s paving roads…)

Anyone out there ever done any seriously grueling summer jobs???

Today has been filled with brain teasers so I really haven’t had a chance to post thoughtfully, but I thought you should know a few things.

1. Today is Kristen’s Birthday, be sure to say happy birthday if you haven’t yet.
2. Today is also WordPress’s 5th Birthday… I know thats not what you expected, but no worries you don’t have to wish ‘it‘ a happy b-day…
3. We had cake for Kristen and it was a Wall-E cake. I really want to go see it, but I don’t have anyone to go with so I might just wait.
4. Oh, and I don’t really like cake…
5. I’ve been on the computer for a long time, I’m trying to develop a plugin so I can make Brody do more work…
6. I was board the other day and decided to update my template and came up with this design while in the process.

I might have positive post later today, but I’m trying to just crap one out for you…

It’s Monday and my neck hurts and my back is a little soar. Brody and I got roped into a miniature two hand touch game of foot ball. Unfortunately for me I’m not very active, but that’s not the problem. I’m an athletic person and even if I’m out of shape I can still be fairly active.

My only real problem is the 10yrs of construction that my body did. It didn’t leave my back and other joints in the best of conditions. So I’ll be doing a little kindness to my bones with a couple of anti inflamatories.
