Here is my latest work. I’m not going to toot my own horn… I do like it, although I have been starring at if for a few weeks now so I need a break.

Its all ready to go, my only real concern is IE, since I moved I don’t have access to Internet Exploder and that is really bad.

So if you’re using IE and you happen to swing by FEE and see some ridiculous mistakes feel free to ream me for being an idiot.

Basically I don’t feel like I have written a single piece of meaningful content here in a while. Hope I haven’t lost any reader cause of my post laziness.

To be completely honest I think I’ve been starring at my computer screen so much this last few weeks that my vision is starting to get all waked off jacked up… oops

Over the last two weeks I’ve been putting in painful hours getting a theme ready for a band called FEE. I hope it’s a typical feeling when I say, “I think I’ve been looking at it too long because now that it’s just about done I’m scared to look at it in fear I might want to change things.”

It’s probably something most designers go through. No matter what is being worked on, or what kind of a product you are designing, if you look at it too much all you see are the tiny, insignificant, 1 pixel mistakes that I will spend hours tweaking on. When in reality only a handful of people will ever notice that 1 pixel. (heck, why not strive for perfection)

Apart from 1 or 2 pixels here and there I can definitely say I am happy with it. It’s clean, easy to navigate and easy to read. It’s low contrast in the areas that count and I don’t think there is much visual competition going on. I feel most of the components are working well with each other.

Now all I have to do is re-work the CSS for Internet Explorer.

Oh, and out of curiosity, does anyone know where I can find some kind of list about what the differences are between IE, Safari and FireFox…?

(if this is the second time you’ve seen this post, that because its the second time i posted it. The first one was negative and after getting a few hours of sleep I realized I wanted Vertical Blogging to be ran over by semis not fee’s theme. In case you were wondering…)—(wait do I have to pay to say that last line???)

Today was one of those typical work days of theme building and updates. Not much to speak of, but I did find a mole running around outside.

I was just hangen out side for a few minute when I saw this little guy run across the grass. So I went over and blocked him so he couldn’t get away. I ran inside and got Brody and we coaxed him into a sand bucket, then he started to freak out and flop around. We felt bad, so we let him go. Moles are weird little guys.

Not sure if you read anything from Fee, but we’re currently working on a new layout and some new ideas to get them going a little better.

To day was a productive day.
