I know I’ve talked about this over and over, and if this subject is getting old to you than you can go ahead and move on. I won’t be hurt at all…

Basically I’m just curious about all those people out there that are still using this browser. Also I’m sure you’ve noticed, but if you are using this browser than my site doesn’t really look that cool to you. Perhaps you just think this site is broken or maybe you know your browser sucks. What ever the case,,, Why are you using Internet Explorer??? Seriously I want to know why… Tell me…

On the flip site Internet Explorer is coming out with a new version, IE8. I can only hope they are going to do some real upgrades and bring this browser up to speed with current web trends and CSS standards. All I can think of is that if Web Designers around the world are doubling their work load to accommodate the ignorant masses that still use IE6 and IE7, than perhaps the developers are getting their act together.

(side note: does IE provide automatic updates like most normal browser??? I’m just curious, because if IE7 is available than why are people still using IE6)

You can only drive a car with out oil for so long before it blows up and it doesn’t work. If IE was like a car then it’s last oil change was probably due about 3yrs ago. And I think we all know how fast the evolution of the tech world is.

Every one of us has bought more than one computer in our life time, and we all know that you can’t even browse the web with a Pentium II any more. So why is it then that people are still using the browsers that came out with a Pentium II.

My fingers are crossed and I’m going to my bookie tomorrow, I’m going to place my bet right now that IE8 is going to be good. I’m not saying this because I have inside info (because I don’t), I’m say this because if they don’t fix IE than it’s going to end up like Netscape Navigator. (what’s Netscape Navigator???)

And if you’re wondering what you should do… “what should I do if I have Internet Explorer and want to change???” Go here and do some research…

Again I ask…

Im not really sure why, but I had to hear Firestarter and then i realized why i dont own any Prodigy and then for some odd reason i thought of ICP and realized that people have strange tastes in music.

If you have ever owned a CD by either of these two, which cd(s) were they? And which song did you buy the album for?

I had a bit of a problem today with my work pants. I started the day with a small hole next to the back pocket and by 8am it somehow made its way down to the bottom of the pocket. This left a good size hole right to my butt. By 1am I had a full blown problem. The hole had expanded with a vortex grip half way to my knee. (not cool) Old ladies and soccer mom’s were giving me the old stink eye.

I know you cant expect much when you buy your pants at walmart, but i do when im buying work pants because there only going to last about a month or two anyway. I swear they make those things out of baby hair and cat fur. Not the strongest stuff to make jeans out of. I think Carhartts probably has the best formula, horse tail and old man eyebrows. Thats the stuff america is made out of.

So whats the last thing that goes through a fly’s brain when he hits the windshield?

Why? Why?

Who thought this was a good idea, when something doesnt work you would think, “maybe we should make this work”. Nope lets just keep making it and see what happens.

I really honestly hope that IE starts to get better. I really hope that this version is more compatible, a little more lenient.

For those of you that dont know. The world of Internet browsers can be broken down to 3 majors. Internet Explorer, Safari & Firefox. There are more, there are a lot more, but these are the most used. (not the cream of the crop, just the top used)

I’ll admit i dont know technical reasons why IE sucks so bad, but when i build a site i have IE open right there just to make sure it’s happy.

If i found a Gene and he said, “you have one wish but it has to be about Internet Browsers” I would wish that IE would go sit on the side like Netscape Navigator.

Unfortunately it’s true that usually the first label to introduce a new product into the market will hold a vast majority of the consumers. Lucky for us its been about 20yrs since then and were starting to get wise to there games.

Seriously who buys these things?

This kinda reminds me of a story about a guy i saw driving through the parking lot of my dad gas station one time.

I looked up from doing something in front of the store. I was just standing there waiting for customers when I noticed this guy in a huge Uncle Buck type car rolling up through the parking lot. I really couldnt see through the windshield very well, but i could see enough. This guy was driving around with a hug salami and a brick of cheese. I saw him take a gastly bite of salami and then go strait to the cheese. No pause… Chomp Chomp…

I was stunned, shocked and began to chuckle. Thats when i realized that, yes, people do drive around with large pieces of salami and bricks of cheese; right in the middle of a hot summer day. Who would have thought?
