I woke up this morning to hear this horrible scratching sound going along with one of the cats meowing off into the distance. I was too tired to get up so I just let it be. Turns out Pan was stuck in the office all night and was trying to dig himself out. Damn it!!!!

Poor guy, i dont think he realized that there is wood under that carpet.

Pan was disappointed that he didn’t get to go shopping with us.

This is Lyra’s toy Octopus. We tied it on a string and we pull it around for her to chase. It’s her favorite toy, in fact when she gets it from us she just sits there and growls with it in her mouth.

Over the last month or so little pieces started to disappear and we didn’t really know what was going on. I figured she was just ripping the thing apart and the pieces were just going to never land or something like that. Jenny said she was eating them. I thought, “yeah, right”.

Turns out Lyra was eating the pieces. The other morning we got up and Lyra was acting sluggish and didn’t want to eat. Her stomach was already full of Octopus. She’s all better now but I wouldn’t think it was too fun for her, if you know what i mean.

Were going to keep a closer eye on this one.

This is Lyra, she was relaxing out side while we had lunch today. Jenny got a new camera for her trip to Britain and we tested it out with a few photos. Enjoy!!!

This is about the extent of my weekend. I had the last four days to my self. Jenny went to see her parents and stayed here to type on my key board and edit images. Apart from having some cheesy tv show on this is what i was doing for fun. Tormenting the cats. Its only like 45 seconds long. oh and if you listen real close you can here Lyra growling.

This is Pan the cat he’s a little crazy, see his crazy eyes. Ever since jenny got the two kittens, Pan and Lyra, they’ve always drank out of our cups at night. Not a big deal to me, and Jenny covers hers. Anyway, one night i woke up and there is Pan just drinken away, and then I hear this horible sound. It’s Pan coughing up the water and gagging on something, and most likely spitting it right back into my cup. Then i hear him go right back for more. That was it, I wasnt having it. I had to do something cause that sound was really grose and all i could think about was cat puke.

Well the table by my bed has two levels like an old telephone table, or something. So, I put it under the top level where he couldnt drink strait from the cup. It was a good idea, for about a week. Then one night Im laying there in bed and i hear this other weird sound coming from a cat mischief. So, i turned on my light, and there’s Pan, sitting up looking at me as he’s licking my water off his paw. “that sneaky bastard” He stuck his paw under the table and into the glass so he could lick the water off his paw. That was a damn clever move, but after a little bit Jenny mentioned the fact that he also uses that paw to move the poop in the litter box. I gagged on that one.

Pan is one clever cat. And the weird thing is, now every time i see him drinking water its off his paw. Is that normal?

Pan is Jenny’s cat who is really cool. He likes too play with his stick, run up the cat pole, jump on to the top of the shower door, sit outside and look for bird, and the list goes on. One of his specialties is to appear out of nowhere and attack your foot. (this does not feel good) He’s for the most part a typical male cat.

Here’s the story. I got off work fairly early and had a nice grocery list of blog work to do, but I hadnt eaten anything but some peanuts and some chips from the gas station. I decided to make some noodles so I put the water on to boil, set the timer, and went back to work. (not a good idea for me because I get distracted easy) I hear the buzzer and about 30sec later, a big, CRASH! KurTHumP,… I looked over and their goes Pan like like a submarine with legs on crack. Sure enough he nocked the pot of boiling water all over the kitchen floor. I cleaned it up, but first i had to find Pan and check him for burns. All was well but now he’s a little more cautious of the kitchen.

This is Pan, he is about 5mo. old and is one of the coolest cats i know. His sister Lyra is cool too, but she is a little bit more anti-social.

He likes to hang out and step on my keyboard while i work and paw at the cursor as it darts across the screen. While at the same time Lyra is taking a nap under my chair.

tuna (ive never seen him eat it, but one day when i opened the tuna him and Lyra freaked out trying to get it)
