I made it to TN and I like it!!! I am at Brody’s house for the time being. They have a really cool house, and room with a lot of space where I can go and hide if I need to. (just kidding, not really)

It’s been so long since I’ve seen Brody and Kristen with the kids, now the kids are half grown. (crazy, I feel older already) From what I can tell I’m really going to like it here. I’ve been a little worried about the heat and the humidity, but after being here a day I know I’ll be just fine. I’m fairly adaptive when it come to climates.

One of the things I am looking forward to the most is kicking the blog business into overdrive, and being able brain storm, while in the same room, is a huge deal. (course now I can’t just hang up on him when Im tired of talking)

Just want to say thanks to everyone for all your prayers and everything, and now that I’m here I’ll stop blabbing about TN. I’ll let you know if anything crazy happens.

It doesn’t matter if you know Brody or not, you must go here and read. This is the worst case of mistaken identity I’ve heard of in a long time. Seriously Funny!!!…

Friday is over, and I am a little too tired to be awake, but I am also sad that it’s over. What a day it was. (I hope this is what Tennessee will be like, doing stuff all the time) I don’t honestly get out of the house that much. I go to the grocery store, to the mail box and occasionally the dumpster when its time to take out the trash.

The Music Industry is a fast pace fun lifestyle that I like to jump into every now and then. It’s fun to be apart of all the commotion. I also got to meat two other bloggers, First was Tyler Braun who I mentioned in an earlier post, and later I met Samantha Crandall. Both of which were really good people, and I’m glad to have me them.

Here’s a quick bullet list of how yesterday went down. We had fun. :-)

  • Wake up 7am
  • Email, Blog, RSS, Coffee…
  • Talk
  • Prep Camera, Call Camera People, Freak-out about Camera
  • Get more Coffee….
  • Target, get DV Tapes
  • Sip Coffee, Drive to Church, Get Lost
  • Find Church
  • Set up: Camera, Computers, Cables, Audio, Stream, Blog & Freak-out
  • Got Camera to Work, Stream some Video, There was much Rejoicing
  • Food, Qdoba, Talking, Brody, Tyler Braun, back to Church
  • Double check Audio, Talk to Phil, Watch setup crew, read blogs and stuff
  • Show Started, Show was Amazing, Stream Live Video, Chat with Web Audience
  • Show ended
  • Hang out, Talk, Samantha Crandall & Friend (I’m retarded with names and generally retarded)
  • Go Home, Talk, Sleep

Honestly it really wasn’t that busy, but I just don’t think I could be a rock-star. I like to hear that sound that silence makes. If you happen to see the show Via Web Stream, What Did You Think?

brody-scoot.jpgSo Brody flew in to Portland today, not too much wear and tear to show. He only got lost once and it’s kinda my fault. (i’ll take the blame) We immediately took off for Qdoba to get a burrito, I think he felt the need for pay back. Read his post if you want to understand that.

So, yeah Brody is in town and were going to meet up with Phil tomorrow and check out his show. Were going to get some video, so if you have a few minutes check out his blog at 7:30. You’ll be sure to see something. Maybe i’ll even turn on my Mogulus as a kind of back stage pass.

So check it out, and i”ll get back to you.

So I know a lot of you are probably kinda curious about this guy. I’m sure that most everyone that reads this blog reads his as well. You may be wondering, “whats the scoop? whats the deal?”. Well, I can tell you at least this much. What you see is what you get, or in the blogging sense, What you read is what you know.

Ive known Brody since we were 7, we played little league together. He was first-base and i was out in the outfield picking the grass yelling, “hey batter batter”. We didn’t go to the same school until 6th grade and at that point we basically hung out every day after that. We were the dynamic duo (so to speak) in HS, we were those guys that didn’t make much sense but always seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Brody’s parents lived with in walking distance of a huge Salvation Army. We abused the hell out of that privilege, it got us into a lot of trouble at the conservative Christian HS we went to. I think we made life a little more interesting for everyone our 4 yrs at FLCS. And once again there we were, Brody was at first-base and i was still in the outfield picking the grass yelling, “hey batter batter”. One time we even hit back to back home runs. (kinda cool)

So here is the inside scoop with a little back story, oh yeah and the positive part too. Brody has always been into music. (a lot more than me) It always seemed like he had something new to listen to, something a little weird or something i didn’t care much for but didn’t care enough to complain. I’m not sure what makes Brody different from the average person who has every album known to man, but he seems to know just about everything when it come to bands and musicians. It never really occurred to me that this would come in handy. Turns out that it helps to know a lot about music when you’re in the music industry.

Since Brody and Kristen have moved to TN he seems to have found his niche everywhere he goes. It’s absolutely amazing, and i think that most of you would agree. If you have met him or spoke on ichat or even email, you can tell you’re dealing with a genuine person. I think God has blessed him with that quality and it’s something that people are drawn too. Another point of fact is his perspective on life and the way things are. If you ever what to get a little bit of a new twist on how something is, ask Brody and there is a good chance you’ll raise an eyebrow and think, “huh, i never thought about it like that…”.

I picked up my phone this morning and saw that i had a voicemail, it was jenny. I called to check my message. Jenny told me that I had locked Pan in the office this morning and he tore the carpet completely open trying to get out. I called her right away to find out how bad the damage was. I was totally sorry and was thinking, “no way, i could have swore i left that door open”. Turns out i was right. When she answered the phone I started to ask questions and talk about the carpet and Pan. Jenny just started to laugh, and then she said, “April Fools!!!”.

She got me, it wasnt outrageous or crazy, but i thought it was good. There is one other one I heard about that was pretty good, but i was at work all day so i didnt get caught up in it. Im sure most of you read Brody’s blog, but if you dont you should check this one out.

It would appear that most of my traffic in the last day and probably today as well is all coming from Brody. (if not check it out) Brody called me the other day with all these questions about BlueHost and how to get wordpress with out .wordpress.

As you can see we busted out and he’s up and running with the bulls. We’ve still got a few bugs. (im sure you dont mind those little rolly poly bugs right) By the end of yesterday we decided to go public regardless of some small bugs. Im really glad we were able to do that.

After having completed that project Ive decided that I am going to do a series here on how to get wordpress with out .wordpress. If you are interested in having your own name and a wordpress blog without having .wordpress than comeback and follow along.
