It’s Sunday which means that there’s probably not a whole lot of people out there in the old blogosphere today, but check out some of these folks. Their my top 5 for the last 30 Day.

link-loved.gif

  1. Brody Harper - If for some odd reason you’re here and you don’t know who Brody is than you should go and sift through some of his retardedness.
  2. Carlos Whittaker - This is kind of the same as above, if for some odd reason you here and you don’t know who Carlos is than you should find out… (that is unless i’m supper cool and you don’t need anything more) The Los Blog is a lot of fun with a huge community, even if you don’t know him just say hi anyway.
  3. Jeff Culmer - This is another cool cat that seems to always be out on the road setting up some elaborate deal for some famous guys that play music. He’s got some hilarious stories and a huge header image that kinda creeps me out.
  4. Just My Opinion - This is Brody’s mom, who I’m not surprised is up in the top five. Barb always seems to be up with the current events of all her kids and her extended kids. (im apart of the extended kids, although, Barb I’m sure you feel I’m actually one of yours…I’m ok with that) Check it out, she’s very uplifting and very encouraging… thanks Barb
  5. Andira - This girl seems to pop up all over the place in the stats world. You should check out her blog, she always seems to be involved in something with her Church and Ministry. She’s also got some music you should check out.

That’s it for this months link-loved.gif. You should think about giving it a shot. Heck even if you don’t like participating in the blogosphere than you should at least give some props to the people who are talking about you…

later… :-)

Today was another day of meeting people, thing is when you read people’s blogs you get to kinda meet them in advance.

Today Brody and I met up with Jeff Culmer. I’ve never met Jeff but from the comments and random emails we’ve had I’ve always thought it would be fun to hang out and do nothing. Well, thats just about all we did. I don’t really remember the name of the place we went to, but it was kinda relaxed and I got to hear some interesting stories about the business.

Oh and he’s freaking tall, so if you read his blog and you’re wondering, now you know. I’m sure we’ll be hangen out more as time rolls on.

I also had a chance to meet the infamous Randy Elrod. Brody and I went to a place to try and get some light work done and get a chance to be away from the house. Turns out Randy is a really nice guy, I’ve always thought so from what I’ve read but know I can back it up.

I’ll admit at first I wasn’t sure who Brody was saying hi to, but then I kinda put it together. I found myself trying to squish the drawing of his face together. (you know the drawing where he has the big head on the little body) anyway… Cool guy.

fee.jpgHere is my latest work. I’m not going to toot my own horn… I do like it, although I have been starring at if for a few weeks now so I need a break.

Its all ready to go, my only real concern is IE, since I moved I don’t have access to Internet Exploder and that is really bad.

So if you’re using IE and you happen to swing by FEE and see some ridiculous mistakes feel free to ream me for being an idiot.

Basically I don’t feel like I have written a single piece of meaningful content here in a while. Hope I haven’t lost any reader cause of my post laziness.

To be completely honest I think I’ve been starring at my computer screen so much this last few weeks that my vision is starting to get all waked off jacked up… oops

I went to the Mellow Mushroom with Brody, Kristen and fam, and Tracy Edwards and Friends. It was good pizza and a good time. In fact we even saw a person get put into an ambulance.

Basically we met up with Tracy as she and some of her friends were passing through town. (I can’t remember why) We went and had some good pizza and had some good laughs. Tracy and her friends are really cool. It’s always fun to hang out with fellow bloggers and talk about all that stuff.

ambulance.jpgAll the while we were being entertained by some strange deal that was going on outside. Normally you would think that if an ambulance showed up that something serious is going on, but for some reason it wasn’t. All we could see was a pair of feet that made it look like there was a person laying under their car. They weren’t but they were laying next to their car, and it was raining. In the end they were put on a stretcher cart thing and put into the ambulance.

We were concerned at first, but then we noticed that no one out side was too concerned so it became a spectator sport. Anyway it was fun.

These are my top 5 Referrers over the last month.

  1. Brody Harper
Brody and I have known each other forever so it’s only natural that I read his blog, but why I like it another story.

One of the things that I like about Brody’s blog are his random posts about things that are going on around us. It seems that he sees things in a different way than most people and I love to read his take on things.

  2. Carlos Whittaker
Ragamuffinsoul seems to live inside of some type of worm hole that transmits his life strait onto his blog and onto twitter.

The thing that keeps me coming back is the community interaction that springs up from all reaches of the web. It’s really fun to watch everything that evolves around his posts. A recent favorite was I Watched Myself Sleep…, even though I don’t really care to see his boxers, it was funny. He seems like an absolute people person, probably a great guy.

  3. Jeff Culmer
Jeff is a candid writer, and seems to be loosing his same for self promotion, which is awesome.

I’ve been reading for a while and sometimes I think I should call him and give him crap about something he’s posted just to be a jerk. (cause it would be funny)

  4. Jonathan & Adrienne
These folks are my Brother and His wife, so it’s a no brainer in the “should I read them today” thought process.

Apart from being family, I like to read there posts because of the family feel. (does that contradict the “apart from being family” thing) What I mean is I enjoy reading about family’s. It’s fun to watch them grow.

  5. Kristen
Being that Kristen is married to Brody it would only be safe to say I read her blog. (sometime just to see if she is making fun of him)

Really though I like her take on life, and I get a kick out some of the interesting stories that come from her boy’s.

If you’re on this list I hope you like what you see. If your here just checking it out and you don’t read one of these go and see if for yourself.

I read a few blogs this morning and they kinda got my brain stirring.

I went over to Without Wax and something in his post got me thinking about how the majority of “Christians”, in my perspective, seem to be missing a healthy dose of “Reality”. Not sure what part is missing, but something is missing.

No more that 4 blogs later I came across one of Carlos’s posts with a banner that some people were walking around with.

Obviously these people have issues and the majority of “Christians” would agree to a point.

Here is my question…

What is it about the average “Christians” daily life that reminds them of God’s existence? What is it that reminds them of the Truth? Once you have these thoughts in mind, think about how loudly they spoke to you. Literally how loud did you hear them in your ears?

Well I’m not crazy so I didn’t hear anything. What I did notice was the subtle consistency of the “Reality” around me; “Life“. The calmness of Nature and peace of Silence.

I just wish more people would reflect a life of Christ than talk about one.

I can’t say much for myself, I’m not the best example of a good reflection, but I would rather reflect than be heard.

Here are a few things floating around in my head this morning. Be sure to read a little about my friend Andrew White ↓ down below. (cause he’s going to be your President someday)

chat.png
We had a good time last night chatten it up over at AreWeStillCool. I almost missed it cause I was watching Prince Caspian. For those of you who weren’t there cause you a chicken than I’m calling you Yellow. You are really missing out on a lot of good conversations and some basic Networking of silly ideas.

php-logo.jpg
So I have a Love / Hate Relationship with PHP. Today is one of the days that I love PHP. The simplest things pop in my head that would like to do, and then BAM!!! I realize that it’s really easy with a few lines of PHP code.

portland-name-google.gif
Finally I want to let everyone know that Portland is Awesome. It’s rainy here today and low 60’s, but just a few day ago it was 95. I love that! I love the fact that it could rain anytime. CA, it’s not like that. Summer hits and you’re screwed. How’s Tennessee in the summer???

The Church is an odd Beast of People and their individual lives. Individuality of thought is a strength, and while being fed is nice, feeding yourself is more rewarding. Im pretty sure we can all agree on that.

I was out reading posts this morning and there were two I read that got my brain gears to turn.

  1. manofdepravity (Tyler Braun)
    • What is Wrong with the Church?

I read Tyler’s post first, which got me thinking about what I thought was wrong with the Church. I thought about a lot of different issues that came to mind, and all the reasons Church has the ability to bug me. I also thought about all the reasons for fellowship.

  2. withoutwax (Pete Wilson)

Both of these post really got me thinking about the fact that I haven’t been connected to a Church in over 4yrs. That’s a long time I know. I don’t advise that kind of a break from the Church community with out sufficient cause. Although I must admit, I’ve gained a new perspective and found a new desire for fellowship. Perhaps it’s a prodigal son type of situation, but I don’t like to put myself in the Bible stories too much. and no I am not a new believer

Here’s what I’m thinking (pete)…We Live, We Choose, then We’re Judged. Nothing escapes the Book of Life. And, while we can hide our Choices behind the difficulties of this Life, good people do unspeakable things. I’m thinking the equality of sin is never apparent because the wave of it’s effect is measured by our approval.

If Sin was Dirt, and you wore your Sin daily, How dirty would you be. I’m pretty freaking dirty, in fact I probably leave a trail.

blogroll-breadroll.jpgI just want to say thanks to everyone for you comments on the Blog Roll Post. I’ve added everyone I’m fairly sure, and if I made a mistake please let me know and I’ll fix it. Also, I’m a retarded speller so let me know if the spelling is off.

Other wise if you’re reading this and you’re not sure what’s up, go down two posts and let me know who you are.
