Outdoor Encounter

I’m kinda excited to see this take off. I really think that they have something worth doing and I’m glad to be apart of it. Rebecca and Ben Wynd have put a lot of effort into getting things started so if you would be so kind as to give them a welcome to the web and the blogging world that would be fantastic.

Daniel Renstrom

I’m sure most of you have been around and seen or read about Daniel. If not you should go and check him out, in fact he has a free song on his site if you go back in his post about a week or two. I had a hard time with his theme, but we made some executive decisions and ran with it. Keep your eye on this guy because I think he’s going to do some amazing things in the future.

I went to a really good meeting this morning with some folks over at Buzz Plant. I really liked the vibe I got from them, they seem really relaxed yet on top of their stuff. (Which is really refreshing to see.)

We talked about some really interesting things concerning Databases and Flash, SEO and some guys in white hats and oh yeah, some blog stuff too. So yes, I left that meeting with a huge smile on and few new concepts to chew on. But as I got closer to my sweet ride I realized that I didn’t have my keys.

If I was at home I would have walked strait back into the house to get them, but I wasn’t at home. The first thing I thought was, “There in the freaking ignition”… Sure enough, there they were just sitting there waiting for someone to stroll along and take it out for a spin. (thank goodness Franklin isn’t a bad town)

Today Brody and I drove to Memphis to have a meeting where we said our little speal and in the end everyone was the same page. Although we had our moments… Or should I say, I had my moments.

There are many times where I find myself trying to explain how websites interact and how search engines do what they do and how it is that we do what we do without actually saying words like database and code and html… I don’t like saying things that sound smart, but after today I realize it might be better to first make sense.

I’m not entirely sure how these things happen, but some how in the midst of our conversation I couldn’t help but talked about Tennessee falling into the ocean, a live broadcast of my closet and egg guts getting all over the place. I think in the future I might just stick to the magical card of the web, and say things like code and html, databases and php…

Work has me in a tight spot right now, but I still enjoy it. Although it seems to be zapping all my energy. One of these days Im just going to unload a ton of stuff…

This is a bloggers dream for that impossible image search. This is absolutely amazing, I love it… I keep finding myself searching for things just to play with it. And yes it actually works as well as the video shows,,, I was very skeptical about that.

Some of you may not know and some of you may not really care, but I have moved to Franklin. I found a nice little place with 3 other guys and its’ a really cool house to be in. It didn’t take me much to get my stuff up here. In fact Brody and I moved it in one trip in his car, that luckily has fold down seats.

I had my first dinner here and it sucked. I made some burritos (classic hicks style). The top of my mouth is going to be one big blister by the morning because apparently the microwave here came strait from NASA. Usually I’m standing right there when someone over cooks their food in the microwave and I love to give them crap for being stupid about it. Lucky for me there is a huge window where I can see my reflection, I called myself an idiot a few times.

Updates

Work has basically consumed my days for the last two weeks, and in a weird way I like it. There are some really good things in the mix, and we are in the process of producing a few things that we’re hoping will at least get you to shake your head with a pleased chuckle.

SkorInc has joined forces with Outdoor Encounter and were expecting good things to happen locally. There are also 2 or 3 other things in the mix that are really going to put a strain on our relationship here.
