10,000

Today I got up went to check on some things here and noticed one very important item… My stat counter just clicked 10,000…
Yes, I’m kind of a stats junky, but only in the sense that it’s good to see progress. I know I’ve never had a serious message or an over all theme (apart from just trying to have fun), but I’m not to worried about it.
Just want to say thanks for the interest, you’ve made this an actual creative outlet for me… :-)

Here are a few un-impresive stats I’ve gathered that I thought were interesting to me…

It’s just to bad I’m not cool enough to be taken seriously by Technorati… No worries, I’m not even a year old yet.
I like this chart… It’s cool to see things grow.
Referring Sites are at the top, I guess that means this community things is working.
Apparently I’m not quite a global commodity yet, heck I’m hardly even a national treasure.

It’s Sunday which means that there’s probably not a whole lot of people out there in the old blogosphere today, but check out some of these folks. Their my top 5 for the last 30 Day.
- Brody Harper - If for some odd reason you’re here and you don’t know who Brody is than you should go and sift through some of his retardedness.
- Carlos Whittaker - This is kind of the same as above, if for some odd reason you here and you don’t know who Carlos is than you should find out… (that is unless i’m supper cool and you don’t need anything more) The Los Blog is a lot of fun with a huge community, even if you don’t know him just say hi anyway.
- Jeff Culmer - This is another cool cat that seems to always be out on the road setting up some elaborate deal for some famous guys that play music. He’s got some hilarious stories and a huge header image that kinda creeps me out.
- Just My Opinion - This is Brody’s mom, who I’m not surprised is up in the top five. Barb always seems to be up with the current events of all her kids and her extended kids. (im apart of the extended kids, although, Barb I’m sure you feel I’m actually one of yours…I’m ok with that) Check it out, she’s very uplifting and very encouraging… thanks Barb
- Andira - This girl seems to pop up all over the place in the stats world. You should check out her blog, she always seems to be involved in something with her Church and Ministry. She’s also got some music you should check out.
That’s it for this months
. You should think about giving it a shot. Heck even if you don’t like participating in the blogosphere than you should at least give some props to the people who are talking about you…
later… :-)

RSS People, my little oops
Comments
This post is mainly for the RSS readers out there.
I made a little oopsy and did a post thinking it was monday, wow my days are all messed up. Kinda funny though. I just got done doing a post for Positive Post Tue, and then I immediately turned around and did a post about Monday night chat. ha!
I think RSS picked it up, mine did. So, if you see it than this post makes sense. If you don’t see it than this post is just a joke and you should laugh. HA HA HA

A Couple of Things
Comments
Here are a few things floating around in my head this morning. Be sure to read a little about my friend Andrew White ↓ down below. (cause he’s going to be your President someday)

We had a good time last night chatten it up over at AreWeStillCool. I almost missed it cause I was watching Prince Caspian. For those of you who weren’t there cause you a chicken than I’m calling you Yellow. You are really missing out on a lot of good conversations and some basic Networking of silly ideas.

So I have a Love / Hate Relationship with PHP. Today is one of the days that I love PHP. The simplest things pop in my head that would like to do, and then BAM!!! I realize that it’s really easy with a few lines of PHP code.

Finally I want to let everyone know that Portland is Awesome. It’s rainy here today and low 60’s, but just a few day ago it was 95. I love that! I love the fact that it could rain anytime. CA, it’s not like that. Summer hits and you’re screwed. How’s Tennessee in the summer???

Google Analytics, Good or Bad
Comments

I went and did it, I kinda had too, it’s sorta part of the business.
Up till now i’ve kinda stayed away from Google Analytics. I really dont have a good answer as to why, i guess I’ve just been so bussy lately that I looked right past it. Not to mention Brody has been taking care of those kinds of things.
Stats are an interesting beast to look at. I like graphs and numbers and all that stuff. I think as human being were drawn to these kinds of things especially if we are personally involved in some way or another. I’ll admit i like to see how many people reacted to a certain post or what time of day people come the most and all that kind of stuff.
Anyone have a bad experience with Google Analytics? (apart from having a hard time spelling analytics)
