It’s been so long since I’ve seen Brody and Kristen with the kids, now the kids are half grown. (crazy, I feel older already) From what I can tell I’m really going to like it here. I’ve been a little worried about the heat and the humidity, but after being here a day I know I’ll be just fine. I’m fairly adaptive when it come to climates.

One of the things I am looking forward to the most is kicking the blog business into overdrive, and being able brain storm, while in the same room, is a huge deal. (course now I can’t just hang up on him when Im tired of talking)

Just want to say thanks to everyone for all your prayers and everything, and now that I’m here I’ll stop blabbing about TN. I’ll let you know if anything crazy happens.

I’ll get you some details when Im not so tired and i can actually see the screen well. (don’t you just love the late nights when you can hardly even read the screen)

I got my flight to Auburn, CA and I’m headed south May 31st. So, if any of you in Auburn have any interest in meeting up I’ll be in Auburn for about a week. I still haven’t gotten my flight to TN yet, but I’ll be getting it soon. I’m totally excited about this move. I’ve gone through my stuff and it turns out that I’ve only got about 3 boxes that are going to TN, and the rest is going to the good will or to people who want my junk.

I’ve started to gather things in my head that a going to be put into a check list of items that are going away and going with.

Going Away:

1. Computer Table :-(
2. Computer Chair :-(
3. Old Books & and Book i havnt touched in a year ;-|
4. Anything ridiculous that i havnt touch in the last year. supper sad face - i have boxes of ridiculous things if found. :-(
5. Drafting table :-(
6. My bed :-)
7. My Dresser :-p (its way to heavy)
8. Coffee Maker

Going With: (some of these might stay in CA till i have a place for them)

1. Old Computer :-)
2. Drawing Portfolio :-)
3. Cameras :-)
4. External Hard drives ;-p
5. A box of clothes :-|
6. May be a new Phone :-p
7. & Basic Necessities

So this is my starter list, im sure there are more things to consider at this point, but Im just going to start here for now.

Im almost 30, I should have more stuff, but i dont. I figure, apart from my art supplies, some cameras & my sweet collection of baseball cards I could probably fit into a backpack. Ive always had a truck load of stuff, and im thinking I should part with a few things. Its really hard though.

Its not hard because i love my stuff, but do you give away things people have given you. Do you give away things you’re going to have to buy again? Well, im not retarded and im not trying to make a statement of giving away all my possessions. I’ll probably take the important things to my parents house and keep the necessities.

Im really just trying to avoid this black hole called a uhaul truck gas tank.

So I told my boss today that I wasn’t going to be around for this summer of serious work and they were just going to have to higher like 6 people to take my place and that i was sorry for their loss, but that I thought they would get over me. I told him it was me not him and that we could still be friends.

Seriously though, Im thinking about the pro’s and con’s. Portland is an amazing city and its really hard to beat the west coast. Any thoughts???

Blog after Blog and tag after tag Ive been debating the pros and cons. Ive spent countless hours staring at pixels and lines of html. Ive been debating over this for a while and am really trying to figure out what i should do. Do I move closer to the work i am doing, or do I get a better phone?

Do any of you have any suggestions on Tennessee?

I’m not sure how many of you really have had to chance to be board on a flight, but I have. I don’t really fly that much maybe once or twice a year really, but can honestly say that I hate the SkyMall. I know were a captive audiance, but seriously who’s going to buy this for actual use. Maybe as a gag gift.

I guess all Im looking for is maybe just a few interesting stories for those of us stupid enough to get on a flight with nothing to do.
