What are you using? I’m in the blue with 1280×800, I’m not quite blind yet. Although if my computer had more options for my resolution I would probably bump it even more. The more crap I can fit on the screen the better.

Woopra is a must see for anyone that is interested in stats. Shoot even if you’re not interested in your stats it’s still cool. The online version is fairly normal by all standard; Google, WordPress, maybe even Mint. (though I haven’t seen Mint yet) The basic info is this. Standard Membership, Standard Script copy and paste, then it’s who, where, how long, from where and everything else you can think of.
Yeah, yeah, nothing new. I’ll admit nothing that exciting, all the same stuff. The real deal is the program Woopra offers for download. That is where the juicy stuff is. Once you open the program you automaticaly feel like your watching the stockmarket or something. (made me want to stroke my beard and think about important stuff) Perhaps this is a puff piece of a program, something to make people feel good. I’ll admit for the small timers like me it’s kinda cool to see a ton of useless stats about my site. The bigger picture is what Im excited about.
The Bigger Picture is this. The Evolution of the Internet and its Content. Communication on a global scale at our fingertips. (sounds lofty…& ‘We, already have that’) But this is Another Generation.
Here is my bit.
As the Web grows and evolves their will be a number of sites out there that are large enough to have their own Desktop Application.
I would like to see more or this.
Desktop Applications built with the web in mind, built for a specific purpose and use.

So I didn’t have Internet all day and for a little last night. Kinda weird I thought, as I was sitting here all day thinking about all the things I should be checking online. In stead I just sat here and cleaned up a tone of code and re-formated my old Mac G4. I also started on Theme VisualComa3.0, should be interesting.
So now I’m back from what seemed like a long time. Kinda got me thinking about what would happen if the Internet broke and no one had it, ever again. Wouldn’t that be weird. Communication is so dependent on it that i think some people would think its the end of the world. (literally)
I’ve always tried to keep things in perspective. That way if I ever had my stuff stolen or smashed or burned I would be mentally prepared for the loss of all my projects and portfolio stuff. My thought is, if I can make it once I can make it again.
3 Cheers for the Internet !!! ![]()

I went and did it, I kinda had too, it’s sorta part of the business.
Up till now i’ve kinda stayed away from Google Analytics. I really dont have a good answer as to why, i guess I’ve just been so bussy lately that I looked right past it. Not to mention Brody has been taking care of those kinds of things.
Stats are an interesting beast to look at. I like graphs and numbers and all that stuff. I think as human being were drawn to these kinds of things especially if we are personally involved in some way or another. I’ll admit i like to see how many people reacted to a certain post or what time of day people come the most and all that kind of stuff.
Anyone have a bad experience with Google Analytics? (apart from having a hard time spelling analytics)

If I was a Computer Wizard here is what i would do with my masterful skillz of Hacking.
I would write a program that goes into my phone and when i get a call from a telemarketer my phone would automatically cut the call off and call them back. Here’s why… When my phone called them back it would act like a virus and spread through out there entire department and call all there phones all at once and it wouldn’t stop for 30min. Not too mention that during that 30min it would go into there database and scramble all the numbers in to little fragments of what they should be.
I would be a god!!!
If you were a hacker what would you do?

Its a little demo video by Matt Mullenweg. He’s showing off some cool new features. If you’re not WordPress some of these new features might interest you in moving.

I did it, i went out and got a new phone it’s a Palm Centro. Sounds cool right!!? Well it’s a big step for me, ive always had just a standard phone and nothing more. Thing is, im too hard on my phones so i just keep it simple.
Ive been avoiding the new phone for about a month because im scared that i’ll break it. I figured that since everyone started to sound like robots and i couldnt hear anyone unless i was in a bomb shelter. I thought it was time to push on and get something new.
I really havnt had the time to check it out infact i havnt even made a phone call yet. (its still charging) I’ll let you know if it meets my standards. oh and if anyone out there has one and you have some advise let me know what you think.
By the way our trip to the zoo and Powells was a success. We had lots of fun and some coffeee. I’ll get the videos and pics up later for you lovers of the animal kingdom.

So I was toying around today with brody and Mogulus so that MercyMe could have there show on a live feed to there blog. Kinda cool. So i went and got myself a channel.
I’ll say this right off. im not a camera person and certainly not a video guy, but you never know. Maybe i’ll be famous one day and i’ll have to be on tv and then i’ll have everything i dont need.
At any rate, maybe i’ll have it on one day and you’ll just happen to click through here and you can see me typing on my computer, wouldn’t that just be cool. I’ve always wanted to watch someone type on there computer. Well at least if you do come through and you see me on here you should at least make fun of me for doing it.
For now its just the rainbow screen for me. And by the way if it is live i’ll swap it out with the calendar so you wont have to wonder. Because I know you’ll always wonder. (and i promise no shower scenes.

Why? Why?
Who thought this was a good idea, when something doesnt work you would think, “maybe we should make this work”. Nope lets just keep making it and see what happens.
I really honestly hope that IE starts to get better. I really hope that this version is more compatible, a little more lenient.
For those of you that dont know. The world of Internet browsers can be broken down to 3 majors. Internet Explorer, Safari & Firefox. There are more, there are a lot more, but these are the most used. (not the cream of the crop, just the top used)
I’ll admit i dont know technical reasons why IE sucks so bad, but when i build a site i have IE open right there just to make sure it’s happy.
If i found a Gene and he said, “you have one wish but it has to be about Internet Browsers” I would wish that IE would go sit on the side like Netscape Navigator.
Unfortunately it’s true that usually the first label to introduce a new product into the market will hold a vast majority of the consumers. Lucky for us its been about 20yrs since then and were starting to get wise to there games.
