I come from a pritty big Family and it can be hard to keep up on everything from which city to how many kids, but it seems as though most of us out on the go and the ones that don’t live in Auburn or the surrounding areas have created ourselves a little spot on the web. Here they are…
The Scharenberg Family
This is my sis and her husband, they have been writing about a year now. It’s always funny to see what shenanigans the kids are getting themselves into.
Readers Circle (my older brother)
This is my older brother he has not quite moved into the writing arena of the web just yet due to his success with ReaderCircle.org. You could only imagine the expectation of post quality the people from his community might expect. (I would get burned alive) Regardless of him not having a blogging community he has created an actually face to face community, and if you live with in 100mi of any major city there is a good chance your going to find a group of people who have met through his site. It’s a really good site, very simple and very focused. (one of these days I’ll get him writing)
The Hicks Family
This is my brother and his wife (I don’t think my brother writes on here), They’ve been writing about a year. My brother also write at New Havenworth about his work as a Grad Student/teacher at UMASS. (he’s a Theatrical Lighting Designer - he’s pretty good at it.)
The Barkers
This is one of my other sisters and her husband, they just started writing since mass emails seems to be getting annoying to her. They are in the process of moving to Japan and so far so good. Also check out JoyJill.com, it’s my sis’s photo site. She and her husband both graduated from Brooks Photography in Santa Barbara Ca. I keep telling her to be taking some killer photos during their move, but apparently there are more important things than taking photos things like making sure they get to Japan. (I guess getting there is more important - a photo journal of not getting to japan isn’t as exciting as actually getting there)
So there you have it, me included thats 5 out of seven. Now all we need to do is get the other two online and were golden. Anyway thats my online Family, so if you’re into family blogs check them out…

I went to my sister and brother in-law’s house for my nephews birthday Wednesday night. We had fun and I got the grand tour of all the toys, pets and treehouse. Kid are crazy.
This is the Tree House, it’s not much to look at from this angle, but they have a full Kitchen, Office, Living Room and a few other areas that I didn’t really understand what they were talking about.
I’ll never forget those day as a kid where you spent all summer building just so you can get up there and have lunch.
These are the Turtles, I don’t remember their names. There was just too many kids trying to tell me at once, but these guys really like to swim around when you get next to their cage. The boys were telling me that it’s because they think I’m going to feed them.
Turtles are awesome.
This is Trinity, she’s the weird/crazy one, and the youngest. When we got to the house she was fast asleep, then we woke her up for dinner. By the end of dessert and during present time I was the focus of her silly faces, and I seemed to be the most fun thing to climb.

Life at home with my parents is always so relaxing. There is never a lack of things going on, it seems like there is always about 4 or 5 people here at all times. Today was a very relaxing evening of home cooked chicken and baked potatoes, then it was out to the porch to just sit around and talk about nothing.
Turns out my parents have a dog pack at the house right now. My brother David brought his dogs over and my sister has her dogs over plus there are the two my parents have. Its like a freaking zoo here. I’ll get to the other animals another time.
Hope you all don’t mind but I’m probably going to be doing a lot of reminiscing about home and family over the next week. I just can’t pass up the opportunity to post about the things here and my family that I am going to miss so much when I leave.
This Ethan my nephew, Jonathan and Adrian’s little boy.

This is my parents front yard with their dog pack. (gosh I hate little dogs, you know the one that never stop yelping like someone is pulling the claws out)

When I was young there were many things that my family used to do on a weekly basis. One thing in particular, that I always liked, was the 49cent Sunday Tacos. Sunday was the day at the local TacoBell in Auburn, back in what?, probably 86-87. I honestly can’t be to sure about how often we really went for Taco Sunday, but I can tell you this. Amongst a lot of childhood memories about who knows what, I’ll always remember the one taco sunday that we went to Ashford Park and ate at the picnic tables.
There isn’t any special event or occasion, just the memory of my family and I like it.![]()
Are there any other random family memories???
