If you’ve never tried Spam than you should give it a shot. I honestly couldn’t tell you the last time I had it but I’m sure I have. The only thing I really remember when I think about spam is Backpacking and a few Monty Python Sketches about it.
Although I can tell you now from experience now that a can of Spam and 4 Eggs is too much for one sitting…

Making lunch today I realized there was something in the zip lock bag that wasn’t lunch meat. I got a closer look and it was a fly, 
trying to get a taste of my sweet turkey breast. I didn’t think much of it, but in my attempt to get it out I noticed another one in the back of the bag. I started to get concerned.
I immediately dumped the turkey out and sure enough there were 3 of them in there. The weird thing is they all seemed to be paralyzed. They weren’t moving hardly at all. The thing is, by this time I had already eaten a sandwich and realized the obvious.
You know how sometimes after you eat there are little bits stuck in your teeth. What if I was nibbling on fly legs.

I know this is kinda random, but ever since I was a kid people have given me crap about the amount of mustard I put on my HotDogs…
I like HotDogs with lots of mustard. For some reason Ketchup on a HotDog makes me feel sick, but Mustard is good… I’ll take Onions and Jalepenos too, but the result of that kind of hotdog is no good for my stomach…

Salmonella Taco Salad

I had a Taco Salad today from the Taco Express. It was amazingly good, but just as I was getting about half way through Brody asked me if I was eating Tomatoes….
I stopped and looked up with a sheepish grin on my face and said, “yes“, not knowing why he was asking… (realize that brody thinks that tomatoes were created by the devil)
He quickly told me that almost all the tomatoes in the US were on recall, or something like that, because of Salmonella. I just kept chomping down and asked, “what’s salmonella? doesn’t that come from chickens?” I’m still not sure where salmonella comes from.
I’ll admit I’m a retard when it comes to things like this. I don’t get sick very often, and I don’t have any kids so I’m not very aware of food issues. Actually I think I’ve gotten food poisoning more times than I’ve had a cold in the last 3 years.
I’m slowly learning my lesson on food. Apparently Salmonella can take up to 48 hrs to show, so I’ll let you know if I get sick. Other wise, watch out for the Taco Express in Spring Hill, their still serving Tomatoes. Never the less, the Taco Salad was Amazing!!! who cares if there is salmonella
