Old Family Things

When I was young there were many things that my family used to do on a weekly basis. One thing in particular, that I always liked, was the 49cent Sunday Tacos. Sunday was the day at the local TacoBell in Auburn, back in what?, probably 86-87. I honestly can’t be to sure about how often we really went for Taco Sunday, but I can tell you this. Amongst a lot of childhood memories about who knows what, I’ll always remember the one taco sunday that we went to Ashford Park and ate at the picnic tables.

There isn’t any special event or occasion, just the memory of my family and I like it.taco.jpg

Are there any other random family memories???

I’m not sure how i stumbled on your site, but i’ve been reading for about a week now. So, which Auburn? I graduated from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala. But i know there are a few different Auburn’s around the country. Just curious.

That’s awesome, Randy. There was a period of time when our fam used to get Little Ceasar’s Pizza every Friday night. We always looked forward to it. Not because the pizza was the best or anything (because obviously, it wasn’t) - I think we just looked forward to it because it had become a tradition. We always knew we’d be eating pizza together in the livingroom, probably watching a movie, every Friday night. All that to say, I think your taco memories are cool.
