I had a discussion today about the work I’ve been doing, and I started to think about work. I quickly realized that I was finally at that point where I don’t have to sit around and work on my own projects anymore. I don’t have to conjure up some fake product to design, or a website that will never exist.
At this point I’m thinking, ‘this is exactly what I’ve always wanted‘. There’s a big +Plus in my book. It was only about 5min later that I realized the truth of what this means. From this point in time till some far off day in future I’ll never really have the time to work on my own projects. There’s the big -Minus in the book.
So here I sit, fully aware as I scratch my head thinking about it, I’ll forever be on someone else’s time. (probably always have) I think thats just the nature of the beast we call Work. I’m just fortunate enough to be doing what i enjoy doing.
